Nathalie Peña Comas
Dominican-born Nathalie Peña-Comas studied piano and flute at the Conservatorio Nacional de Música in Santo Domingo and graduated from the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (Austria) with a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance and Piano Pedagogy.
As a soprano, she is a rising star on the international classical music scene as an opera singer, concert soloist, recital singer, and chamber musician.
Nathalie Peña-Coma's engagements include the role of the Countess in The Marriage of Figaro, a concert tour with "Stabat Mater" alongside the Capella Santo Domingo Chamber Orchestra, and concerts with the Belarusian TV and Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Mogilev Symphony Orchestra (Belarus), the Russian State Philharmonic Orchestra, chamber music and art song recitals in Rome, Lisbon, and Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic), and she has also performed alongside international stars such as Andrea Bocelli.
Her other performances in recent seasons have included Pamina (The Magic Flute) on tour in Lower Austria; Musetta (La Bohème) and Valencienne (The Merry Widow) at the Teatro Nacional Eduardo Brito from the Dominican Republic and Queen of the Trolls (The Two Fiddlers) at the Brücken Festival in Styria.
She has performed as a soloist and chamber musician at the "God Almighty" Festival in Belarus, the 10th Festival Musical de Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic), the Vienna Festival, the Brücken Festival in Styria, the Con Anima Festival, and the "Horizonte Festival" in Landeck, Tyrol, Austria.
As a chamber musician and speaker, Nathalie has performed on major venues such as the Radio Kulturhaus ORF, Belvedere Palace, Muth (Concert Hall of the Vienna Boys' Choir), the Musikverein and Konzerthaus in Vienna; the Teatrino Hall and Teatro Liceu in Barcelona; the Filharmonia in Kraków in Poland; the Academic Music Theater in Belarus; and the Palacio de Bellas Artes and the Teatro Nacional Eduardo Brito in the Dominican Republic.

The Basilica of Our Lady of Altagracia in Higuey, named after this music album, is one of the most visited pilgrimage sites in the Caribbean, located in the Dominican Republic. The musical content spans three centuries on the theme of "Mary, Mother of God." Soulful interpretations of great compositions make this album particularly appealing.
